the city sleeps
The streets at night hold a strange fascination, the bonds of daylight are shed and real characters emerge from underneath routine. There is something magnetic, something that pulls me. I walk, no real reason, just a need to be amongst it, the neon hum. music in my ears and the rhythm of my heels on concrete pushing me forward. Sometimes it's good to just be in motion. breathing in the city and thinking about nothing in particular.
