Paris et un peu de Londres

cute work by Sandrine Estrade Boulet

paris was bon.

Apologies for lack of posts, i'm currently in paris at OFFF, i'll have plenty to put up when i get back!

Downtown 81, a brilliant New York beat movie, with Jean Michel Basquiat and music from John Lurie; DNA, Tuxedomoon, the Plastics, Marvin Pontiac, Kenny Burrell, the Specials, Chris Stein, Melle Mel with Blondie, Kid Creole and the Coconuts, James White and the Blacks, Vincent Gallo, Lydia Lunch, Steve French and Suicide. an amazing snapshot of no-wave post punk new york, following a fictional day in the life of Basquiat. I especially love debbie harry as the fairy princess. watch it!

Pretty happy with the first couple of test rolls through the mamiya :-)

In the spirit of the world cup, this is about as close as i come to paying any interest in football. Fabric balls series by KLAS ERNFLO

Also started my moleskine photo project. you can see the first couple of pages on my tumblr or on my flickr. emulsion transfer is loads of fun.

Teen and Transgender Comparative Study series by charlie white.

The beginning of the end, self-aware ikea furniture.
Designer Adam Lassy created these self-perambulating portents of doom, as his thesis project at ITP.
They respond to the user’s presence and needs (that is until they decide to kill you in your sleep).
The table and chair have embedded robotics, enabling them to scuttle around the room like some kind of terrifying flat packed acid trip.
